cute! little to no ambience but i like it that way, i like to hear the clank of silverware. you get to pick items that are all in seperate plates and you can get it to go or for sit down. you can also get rice for like 2$ which is worth. they give you complimentary tea which was nice and had a mild jasmine flavor. the food was good, especially the cucumber salad. this place is chill.

Excellent choice from a buffet of dozens of delicious dishes, the bento is 9.99 with 3 choices, rice or porridge is 1.5. Very reasonably priced and taste good. My selections are simple since I can't have too much sodium, I choose bamboo shoots (Shanghainese delight), tofu skin and mustard greens. Light and tasty, the hardest is to make your choice- their steamed chicken is moist, cuttlefish stirred fried with celery, sea cucumber appetizer, and many many more. The service is fast and the wait staff was friendly, unlike what some of the review said. The only reason for less than 5-stars is because of the long line waiting to select your dishes, since there are so many choices, the customers take a long time to choose, even if you are disabled, you will have to stand in line between the tables in the small restaurant. No preorders, take out or dine in all have to wait in line. But if you go at a slow period, it might be a 5 star for you! It's worth the try.

This is my new find and new favorite. I was so bummed after Sam Woo express on Culver closed down. This place is super affordable for those who enjoy a traditional Chinese/Taiwanese 3-item meal with either rice or porridge. It's definitely not Panda Express nor Americanized. It's a true Chinese/Taiwanese flavor is the best way I can explain it. I'm a little weirded out by the chicken... lol They take credit card with 80 cent surcharge. $13.20 (with tax and credit card surcharge) for a 3-item combo.

It has been a while since we have eaten here. We were greeted by one of the servers as we came over to look at the foods on display. They asked if we were eating here. We said yes so they took us to a table and gave us the menu. There were several dishes that we wanted to try as we aren't as familiar with Taiwanese cuisine We enjoyed Beef with Scallion, Pork with Bittermelon, and Combination Crispy Noodles. The serving sizes were good and it was delicious. I really liked the noodle dish Servers were helpful and prompt. We will be back
